Our Story
Reminisce’s story started like many love stories: we both love creating, and it grew from there. We’re bound by a passion for activism, humanitarianism, and capturing photos for people during the best moments of their lives. Since then, our little photography family has grown! We’re proud to call an intimate little group of professional photographers part of our Reminisce family, as well as part of our sister-brand Noun Photography, which specializes in commercial work.
No matter the celebration we are capturing, we’re in it together. We believe that your happiness with your photos starts from the first time we speak with you through the delivery of your images. People matter to us, and we’d love to partner with you to photograph the people you love most.

Hey, I’m Miranda!

I’m in my happy place behind the camera, in the garden, or playing my flute. I can switch from playing classical orchestra to recording pieces for symphonic metal bands; I love all kinds of music! I’ll never be on the Great British Baking Show, but I’ve finally tackled my fear of baking, which means I can offer you a cookie (and even a Tarte Tatin!) with confidence. I’m really glad you’re here and considering us to create beautiful memories for you!

When I’m not photographing or working behind the scenes at Reminisce, you can find me cooking up some tasty treats or hitting up the local festivities and hiking trails. I think space is cool, and I have an endless appreciation for a good sci-fi series. Thanks for checking us out; we would love to hear from you and get to know you!

Our Values
we’re environmentally responsible
We try to live our lives and run our business with the intent to do no harm. Here are some ways we work on being sustainable:
Energy: We turn off electrical equipment when not in use, use rechargeable batteries, and use LED lights in our office, home, and studio.
Equipment: We buy quality products that will last longer and can be sold or donated when it’s time for us to upgrade our gear.
Paper Consumption: Contracts, invoices, questionnaires, session tips, collateral, and banking are all paperless. We also use recycled paper when we print (when necessary) and focus our advertising efforts on digital platforms.
Photo Delivery: We deliver digital downloads instead of USB drives.
Partners: Our labs (album and prints) have solid commitments to being environmentally conscious, including using recycled paper for internal operations.
We're also a small business partner with the National Forest Foundation, through which we plant trees for each of our clients.

Many of our clients have been with us long-term; we’re “their photographer” and we are really proud of that.

Anyone with a camera can take a photo; it takes true imagination to capture a moment. Our team is more than staff photographers; they are artisans driven to create excellence for their clients. Each team member works closely with their client and weaves in their experience with lighting, posing, and capturing candid moments to create photos that tell a story.
