Wedding Specifics

Is there anything I can do to help during the post-ceremony family/bridal party/friends formals?
To ease the organization and timeliness of this part of your day, and ensure you get every photo you want, we ask that you make a list of requested of family/wedding party/friends portraits (this form is included in our questionnaire that we give you). That way, we have the list and you can just enjoy your day. It's also a good idea to let everyone know the game plan prior to your wedding day so that those needed for formals are there. You may also wish to appoint someone in charge of hunting down missing relatives just in case they wander off :)

Why do you request that no one else take pictures during the formal photography?
We want to take the best possible photos we can take for you. However if others are taking pictures during post-ceremony formals, for example, your family or wedding party may be looking at the wrong camera. It also increases blinking because of the multiple flashes. More importantly, though, it can add strange lighting conditions and completely interfere with our exposures, affecting the results of your photographs. When we're done with a specific formal group shot, we'd be happy to briefly step aside for others to shoot away.

Are we required to provide a meal?
If your coverage lasts more than five hours a hot meal should be provided for each photographer during dinner hour... Capturing your day is priority, so don’t worry, we won’t miss any speeches, toasts or cake cutting (no matter how good the food is)!
